AFTER CARE
Caring for your new eyebrows after treatment is vital for a good healed result and will minimise any risk of infection and skin trauma. You will be supplied with everything you need to look after your brows for the first 7 days and should use only the products in your aftercare pack. It’s very important you follow the advice given especially on the first day of treatment .

30 -60 minutes after treatment clean the eyebrows thoroughly with the aftercare wipe or antiseptic solition and apply a thin layer of skin candy.
Then every 2-3 hours clean the brows with mild antiseptic solution or aftercare wipes and apply thin layer of skin candy…

Bed time, clean the brows for the last time, apply skin candy and cover the brows with the sterile phi patches. These must be worn only on the first night to ensure the skin stays clean and hydrated and prevent any scab formation.
On days 2 -7 lightly clean the brows and apply skin candy balm morning and night. (No face under the shower or active washing during the 7 day healing period and use the skin candy sparingly) Very oily skin aftercare may differ slightly in that we reduce the balm application and clean with antiseptic or cooled boiled water only for an additional few days but this will be advised during treatment)
For the first week you may still wear makeup, just avoid getting it in your eyebrows.
When washing and cleansing your face carefully clean around the eyebrows. In the shower do your best not to get them wet. If you do, gently pat them dry without rubbing.
You may experience some mild peeling, this is part of the skin regeneration/renewal process so it is very important not to scrub or pick within the first week and allow the skin to heal and renew naturally in its own time. Scrubbing and picking will cause skin to be removed too soon, this in turn can cause scabbing, scars and poor pigment retention.

Skin healing takes around 28 days which is why we don’t top up before 4 weeks.During the healing process the skin will go through some changes. Healing for everyone is different but these are some of the stages and what to expectDuring the first 2-4 days after treatment the brows will be darker (up to 40%) and will also look thicker (up to 15%) don’t worry, they will shrink back once healed and the colour will also settle. You may experience some mild peeling, little scabs are also normal, just don’t pick them and allow to heal naturally.Within the second week the colour will fade, it may look a little patchy and can even look like it has disappeared, this is all normal and colour will come back up in week 3&4 before your top up which is usually scheduled for around 6 – 8 weeks This is when we will make any corrections and add colour if needed.
